I’m happy to say the site has now been successfully moved to its new home at Arvixe. I’ll be spending the weekend going back and checking to make sure various links are fixed and other minor maintenance to ensure the site is working properly. I’m also going to be working on some new site graphics to give it a more professional look oriented towards 3D graphics and game development. Some of the current content will be moved to a new personal blog site I’m also going to be launching soon.
I wish I could say this move had been easy, it wasn’t. I wish it hadn’t been necessary at all. I won’t go into the details here except to say that my former web host, Network Solutions, whom I’d been with for nearly 12 years was no longer offering me the level of service they had previously and their costs had gone up too high. Our parting wasn’t exactly amicable and that made the move to a new web host more difficult than it needed to be. However, I am happy to say that the folks at Arvixe did everything they could to help me through the move as well as doing more than their fair share of hand holding to get me through the process. For that, I am grateful.
My intent now is to refocus my energy on maintaining and building this site, getting some new art, 3D models and some game projects completed. I’ll be posting more about that soon.
Please note there are probably some broken links I have yet to fix where the file structure on the new host is somewhat different than the old host. I’ll be working to get these fixed soon, but feel free to drop me an email letting me know of any broken links you may find on the site.
